funny, seems like I remember on here someone posting that 3500-3600 +/- rpm seems to be that sweet mpg for most boats. It actually is for my pontoon.

Performance update. . .

I have about 13 hours on the engines. I found a sweet-spot for fuel ⛽️ usage. 3600 RPM & 30-31 mph gets 1.4 mpg. So, that is a win 👍😃

The best I could do with the Mercruisers was 1.3 mpg.
If you go 100 miles/day every single day, you'll have paid for the conversion in only 10 years! (Winter too, no cheating)

Here is my fuel purchases this year for the boat . . .

I currently have about 55-60 gallons in the tank.

The Admiral get money off at the Stop & Shop Gas station for buying groceries. (y)

That stop at the Marina was painful . . . :eek:

I don't keep gas records but I've filled my boat up with Reg twice (about 70 gal each time) and 50 gal's once. Price was 5.25 to 5.45 for 87 Octane E0 at marina. My tank is 123 gal
