Hey there Ron Trapper! The 74 is 14ft from the very front to the part of the boat that holds to motor on.From side to side in the middle its 65 inches and at the very back side to side its 61 inches. the sides at the deepest part are about 20 inches.I believe this will be a good match for my wife and I to fish these smaller lakes around little rock, arkansas. WOO-PIG-SEWE---HA-HA. And i will be posting pics as i go threw the complete cleaning up boat-motor-trailer. Lot of clean up and some painting. This boat was in a barn for 9 yrs. Later gary

Re: Show Your Lund!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys all have some nice looking Lund's on here. I've got a '03 1800 Fisherman ITS that I bought about 3 weeks ago and I love it. My dad has an '06 1800 Mr Crappie and after going out with him several times figured it was time to get one of my own. I'm glad I found a place where I can get tech help when needed and just be able to BS about these boats we love.

Here are a few pictures of my Lund. First time i've posted a pic so hopefully it looks ok. Boat is a 1700 pro sport. Bought it August of '97 and have used it every weekend we can since. Have made very few repairs just normal maintenace/replacing worn out pumps.

Here are a couple of shots of my new "rig". I bought her yesterday and enjoyed a nice afternoon starting the break in cycle for the engine, and yes....a little fishing....had to try the new Minn Kota motor too! A perfect combination for me, easy to handle, will get me to the many lakes here on the island, and on nice days....the salt chuck!

Here is our '11 1750 Tyee w/ 150 Merc Verado sitting on the show room floor in January. It has been a long, long wait for this day to come. Took her out the maiden voyage today. A little cold but a great day to avoid ice flows on the Fox River. I am amazed at how snappy the Verado is. My 7 year old boy just loves to drive this with Dad. Can't wait for the weather to warm up. Happy Fishing all.

Re: Show Your Lund!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nice looking rig, Mushy's Dad!

It appears the 2011MY 1750 Tyee is almost a direct replacement of the 2010MY 1750 Fisherman. The tell is that the 1850 and 1950 Tyee have handrails on the bow, a little nicer dash, a padded cover over the starboard sidewall compartment, and a few other "niceties". The 2010MY 1750 Tyee also had those features, but now it appears to be more in line with the 2010MY 1750 Fisherman which did not have them. In the past the 1750 Tyee was much more expensive than the 1750 Fisherman, but since there wasn't that much difference, the Fisherman model seriously cut into sales of the 1750 Tyee. It makes a lot of sense to make the current 1750 Tyee the same as the 1750 Fisherman of the past. I imagine the new version like the one you have will be a top seller. A lot of bang for the buck.

Looking at the Lund website, it also looks like they moved the popular 1700 Pro Sport model to the Tyee line. They removed the bow rails from the 2010MY, but updated the transom from 20" to 25", so it now looks like a true big water boat.

The new 2011MY 1750 Tyee maintains its 150hp rating, but it's a boost over the previous Fisherman model that was 135hp. The new 2011MY 1700 Tyee gets a boost to 125hp over the previous Pro Sport model that was 115hp.

Lund has been criticized in the past for having way too many models, so it's good to see them simplify things.

In the meantime, you're going to love that new boat!!

Re: Show Your Lund!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here's my 2000 Alaskan 20' SS. This is THE boat for all kinds of fishing and duck hunting on larger lakes. My only regret after 10 years of owning it is I wish I hadn't underpowered it. However, that is a problem that I am working on resolving.

Re: Show Your Lund!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi to all Lund-ers,
I have to appologise for not posting during the long Alberta winter but i did keep in touch with the fishing scene...i have bought a whole bunch of new fishing rods from Abu,St.Croix,Okuma,GLoomis,Shimano reels, etc.I would also like to mention that at our fishing show here in Edmonton,Canada i even won a Scotty 1050 downrigger....nice.I entered the draw 5 minute before the draw and ...bingo !
But what i would like to mention is that today my wife and i bought ourselfes a 2011 Honda 4 stroke 25 Hp motor to keep company to it's little 2010 Honda 4 stroke 2 Hp motor !, we are super happy.
