Re: Show Your Lund!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nice looking rig, Mushy's Dad!
It appears the 2011MY 1750 Tyee is almost a direct replacement of the 2010MY 1750 Fisherman. The tell is that the 1850 and 1950 Tyee have handrails on the bow, a little nicer dash, a padded cover over the starboard sidewall compartment, and a few other "niceties". The 2010MY 1750 Tyee also had those features, but now it appears to be more in line with the 2010MY 1750 Fisherman which did not have them. In the past the 1750 Tyee was much more expensive than the 1750 Fisherman, but since there wasn't that much difference, the Fisherman model seriously cut into sales of the 1750 Tyee. It makes a lot of sense to make the current 1750 Tyee the same as the 1750 Fisherman of the past. I imagine the new version like the one you have will be a top seller. A lot of bang for the buck.
Looking at the Lund website, it also looks like they moved the popular 1700 Pro Sport model to the Tyee line. They removed the bow rails from the 2010MY, but updated the transom from 20" to 25", so it now looks like a true big water boat.
The new 2011MY 1750 Tyee maintains its 150hp rating, but it's a boost over the previous Fisherman model that was 135hp. The new 2011MY 1700 Tyee gets a boost to 125hp over the previous Pro Sport model that was 115hp.
Lund has been criticized in the past for having way too many models, so it's good to see them simplify things.
In the meantime, you're going to love that new boat!!
