I guess I will post another picture of my Alumacraft. I have done quite a bit of work since the first post of this thread. I have added a deck in the front, a new fish locator, made the front seat higher, got a new fuel tank, added a bilge pump, and fixed up the trailer. Here is an overhead shot of the boat as of this afternoon.........

Heres the new locator with a fancy wire grommet in the splashwell

Link to my boats I have a 1975 XL5 Larson with a 90 hp merc and a 1980 silverline with an 80hp merc. I am new to the forum and loving every minute.

heres my entry

4.8m bondwood half cab no motor on it atm but will be putting a 115hp inline6 merc on

status currently restoring

Nice boat the Tahoe. Just looked over the new ones at Outdoor World today....... (well I can dream can't I ) !!!!!!

Will post some of my boat in a few days when she is all ready for the season.

The boat is quite heavy. In South Africa you have to have two motors to go out more than 1 mile out to sea. Can also get quite rough launching from the beach and you need the whole shot power to save you from major accidents. Anyway runs really well and is light on fuel.

Except for replacing the lower gear set (which we blame on the previous owner) it has been pretty good to us.
We've done some minor fiberglass work to the floor, and laid new carpet, also some apholstery work. Marine-tex'd some gouges in the hull. Built the tower etc.
