Re: Show Yer Boat II
All of that in a 17 footer...WOW!! Need more pics of that..
I'll see what I can manage. I am in the process of rebuilding the seats so its pretty ugly right now.
Basically it had two rear jump seats, and sleeper seats and then the bow.
I made a deck for the front, that has a builtin battery tray for the trolling motor and a built in baitwell with aerator and a toggle control I can use with my foot.
Under the driver side seat is a small microwave, for making coffee and food on long fishing trips, running off a power inverter.
I am going to be removing the two back jump seats and permanently install a rear bench and twu buckets up front(retaining the microwave)
The livewell has a minuteman variable aerator timer. and is currently a removable livewell, but as I said once the bench is in it will be permanent.
The rear casting deck is built on top of the now extended engine cover and is not that big but big enough to stand on without falling off.
The fishfinder in the front is on a swivel base so I can see it while fishing off the front but I use the transducer in the rear. The front trolling motor has a mount for the fish camera that I mount on it and hook up to the 2 LCD's (one attatches to the dash under the windsheild for the back passengers, and I keep one in the front with me)
CD player is a normal dashmount. I also installed a switch so I can chheck the voltage on the running motor or the trolling motor battery.
Not yet finished the rear bench seat setup yet and once thats done I'll rip out the sleeper seats. then a bit of carpeting and I will permanently rig everything else up.
