Yeah, with the 25 horse motor, she really boogies!
With me and my 2 kids and all our gear, I would say she does 35 mph.

Great fun in a small boat!

Mine's a '72. 14 Footer with a 5 horse, planes and runs about 12 MPH.

here is mine. its an 84 Cimmarron 18-ss, chevy 350 with a Berkeley 12J/F jet drive. will run about 50mph with the engine tuned down (rebulding it this winter) should run about 65mph when we are done

I feel embarassed posting a pic of my little boat

My first boat under my name. An old 14' fiberglass Lonestar. Still trying to nail down the year. Also going to remove the windshield as it just keeps getting worse. But it was my first boat, first restoration project and first time my wife looked at me when I added all the costs up and thought about leaving

Nothing at all to be embarrassed about with that boat. I love a classic boat and that one looks cool to me. Looks like a sports car for the lake.

I love vintage boats.

My grandfather had an old 52 peterbourough and it had beautifull curves and accents. So I was looking for something like it. Wish I could pin down a year for it though.

But thank you. It was my first project so I learned about transoms and why they need to be solid

I wouldn't worry much about the boat...The car on the other hand might be a different story. We had Lebaron coup like that (non-convertible) that caught fire under the hood and burned up.
