I do but I still don't see anything that resembles a spring. The thing on the right side looks kind of like a bearing of some sort.

Maybe you should put your glasses on. The link you gave is showing leaf springs.( Lingo is springs.)

I don't know what planet someone decided to call those springs: http://www.walmart.com/ip/Century-Spring-C-265-2-Count-3.19-inch-Extension-Springs-0.437-inch-OD/19865446?ci_src=14110944&ci_sku=19865446&sourceid=1500000000000003260430&adid=22222222227000000000&wl0={matchtype}&wl1={network}&wl2={ifmobile:m}&wl3=21486607510&wl4={aceid}&wl5=pla&veh=sem

THOSE are springs.

It looks like what I linked to two links ago. It's definitely not "torsion" the axle doesn't look like it moves at all.

EDIT: Apparently I have a picture

I wouldn't worry about the squeaking. All trailers squeak.

It's more annoying than anything. After dipping it in water it goes away until it dries. I am sure greasing the leafs will fix it. I just read about 20 pages of forums talking about greasing them and which grease to use. A lot of people are pretty happy with results. I'll try it. If it doesn't help then I'm not out anything. I have a bunch of marine grease.

Speaking of rust. I need to run a wire brush attachment on a drill or something and clean this off and apply a new black gloss coat :D

I should probably do that myself just to extend the life of everything if nothing else.

Whenever someone says PBR, I always think Pabst Blue Ribbon beer for some reason!
