Engine goodies showed up today!
Cam, lifters, harmonic balancer, gaskets, main-rod-cam bearings, timing gear set, balanced rods with ARP bolts...and he threw in comp cams break in oil. Which I am sure saves in from explaining to people why the cam went flat later when they use non-zinc oil. He got the head yesterday, and now the block and cam bearings go to the machine shop Monday! Might actually get to start putting things together next week! I am really interested to see how the old girl preforms with a little extra HP and torque! I also bought a kit to drill and tap the front of the crank. The factory didn't put a bolt on it to hold on the harmonic balancer. Its pressed on so they said good enough. But the bolt adds insurance and allows you to rotate the engine when setting ignition and cam timing.
