I really really like that set up you got there! looks like a fishing machine!

Thanks g0nef1sshn.

This season I changed some things on the EZ-Loader galvanized trailer. Installed roller guides from cabelas and 1 1/2" X 1/2" x 8' HDPE (cutting board) glide strips from TAP Plastics to the bunk tops. I can very easily drive the boat up the trailer to the winch stop, but must leave it in gear until it's hooked up or it will slide back down off the trailer. Launching is as easy as a light shove from the bow. I don't dare unhook the winch before the trailer is in the water.

bunnymoney, please remember Iboats is an online retailer (in addition to being the generous sponsor of this free forum) and dont post competitors info or sites, hence the auto-edit to your post above.

Thank you

image_258855.jpg New to this forum. Just purchased a 1989 Starcraft Medalist 1701; 2.3l OMC. First power boat, will float on the Snake River in Lewiston, ID. Will certainly be asking questions in the near future.

:welcome: to the iboats forum landslr, your glass SC looks to be in great shape for her age.

Got her swapped to better trailer last night. Going to remove the electric winch. Pain in the butt.

I know I posted mine already but here it is in action. This is one sweet bass fishing rig for my local lake it handles rough water really well for its size I think it moves along nicely at around 20-22 mph and almost 30 at wot and the center console setup is awesome..I do need to work on the trailer setup though.

Bad photos I know but these were from a few days ago. With my 5 I would say I probably had 12-14 lb limit if I had been in a tournament.

Anybody know what model starcraft this is is just over 16 foot. I have searched all over for this boat and I'm trying to see how it came originally
