I love the stern bracket. That is one of the features I have to have with this boat. I just love it, wont have another O/B without one now.

What area in Wa state do you live. Best Halibut area I use in Hien Bank And Salmon Bank in the San Juan Straights. It about a 15 mile run from Anacortes but nice trip ( in good weather ) but can turn real nasty.

Nomad that is a pretty boat. We need more pics & info.

TGP, I once made that comment about black not being a wise choice for a boat...once AGAIN I have been proven wrong, darnit. I would be willing to sweat in that beautiful boat. You have done yourself proud:D and have added a trophy to the Starmada collection.

I always thought all black would be too dark. TGP, you've proven me wrong too. Amazing boat there bro. The outboard, well as I say "An old Johnson is a great choice for a motor, but an old Merc is the sexy choice. That motor, muy provocativo.

Is that black beast just about as nice of a rebuild as you could find.

I am in Gig Harbor, but we plan on going to Sekiu, and Neah Bay alot. I am open for other areas for Halibut, lings, sea bass, and salmon.
Takes about the same amount of time to goto Neah Bay as it does to get to your area. I have never fished up there. Might have to try it out. I am always up for new spots to fish. A bad day of fishing is better than any good day at work.

JM 71--- Inland Waters from Neah Bay in the Straights. Almost straight out from Port Angeles area called Hein Bank and Salmon Bank also the West side of The San Juan Isl. area Presidents Channel all good for Salmon year round and halibut in season. The outside areas are much better then the sheltered waters. Almost as good as BC Fishing. Chart maps are great and a book from John Martiniz from Everett is excellent for areas and how to fish them. Your ok for these areas, as you realy need a biger boat as there is some fun boating from time to time and the small boats I feel are an accident waiting to happen. I have a 16 ft Starcraft super Sport . And a 22.5 Ft Starcraft with a big 200 OB and a 9.9 Merc 4stroke kicker so the big water is ok. Just so darn far to motor for a Fish or mabey 2 Salmon. Its a long run from Anacortes and Deception Pass even then unless good weather is on the menu,it can be a nasty boat ride the 14 miles out to where the best fishing for halibut is.

So the fishing grounds you are talking about, are they in the San Juans or closer to Port Angeles? It would be easier for me to fish Port Angeles than to head up your way. Might make for some fun fishing.

Very short ride to mentioned grounds from Port Angeles. Gret place to launch. If weather gets nasty., short run to get out of it.

LOL. I don't think he would have forgot that one, it looks like one of those Bubba Kegs that you do mixed drinks in, not coffee.

Great looking boat by the way, and super location.

Love that big deckboat, and she looks like she has plenty of room for fishing off the bow too:D

What kind of speed are you getting on the high end?
