OOOHH yea Redfury, I learned to ski on a chris craft inboard , it was a friend of the familys , man that was fun !!

Wheni seen the one i have , I was on both sides of the fence , I new how much it can beat you up in some good size chop, but i also new it would be great for the kids , being so stable !!!

Ok I am kicking the kids out the door to school and I am out fushing !!! John

Ah! I forgot to even ask...hows the ride quality of your boat?! Granted, mine is larger and slightly different in the hull shape, but how does the boat turn? I'm curious as to how hard it actually bounces off the waves vs. a V hull.

She rides great, corners good !!! she jumps right up on place and rides real high . i would say the back 1/8 is just in when i got the hammer down !! the last pic of the boat me and my dad had was a 20.9 foot , and this one rides the same !! in 2 or 3 foot waves she gets ruff !!!! she will beat you to death !! It was the same way in the big one thats why this one doesnt go out on the big lakes !! now my new one [ its a deep V ] it wont worrie so much out in the saginaw bay !!

this girl rides great !!! I not kidding , i would say in 20 feet [ if that ] she is on plan !!! I was out today in her and man i love it , 7 hour again today !! was fishing today didnt do much catching !!!! it was still a great day !! little cold out there this morning , but warmed to 80 this afternoon !!! even at lower speeds she tuns well !! and top end right now os 40 , once i get the tack going we will see what i can do , would love to get 50 out of her !! i know i am dreaming , this one doesnt have a 350 in her !! I am still very pleased !! John

I was out today in her and man i love it , 7 hour again today !! was fishing today didnt do much catching !!!! it was still a great day !!

i have come to the concluision that i hate fishing but i like catching

redfury.....when the tri hulls turn.....they dig.....

for a lake boat....they are an incredibly stable hull......

john and i were reliving our experiances with them as i grew up on one too.

my step dad and his son were big boys....they could both be on the same side at different ends......and the boat listed very little.....kinda like 3 keels under you.....

the only problem is......when you are in a good chop.....with all the water trapment between the keels (if you wanna call them that)....it can beat the stuffings out of you.....really bad....im talking sore backs...necks....

but that is also up to the driver of the boat....it the idiot is running wot into a full chop trimmed up....you get slammed....but if the driver is running at a good aoa on the waves and slow enough....its not too bad......

but....again....they are an incredibly stable craft....i had fantastic memories of that boat........i just love the fact that a lot of guys are restoring them....

just a quick side note.........in those days....evenrude was the motor of choice on the lake......they were said to be the best....(chatting around the dock).......we all were really pizzed at my step dad for getting a johnson...

Ha! Well I don't worry too much about chop as I don't fish on lakes much over 2000 acres...If I do, they are 14,000 acre lakes, but are chains of lakes, so there's always a place to hide from the wind and chop. I guess I won't worry too much about it. Stability is really the point of me getting this boat. My wife and kids like to go out, but I'm always telling the kids to sit down, or if I have to move around in the boat ( around them ), I'm damn near falling into the lake in our 14 ft tinny because of the rocking.

Hay red I was looking at your pics last night , I was thinking of the same thing with the red on the bottom and the white on the side , with the red in the classic glastron V , I also have a big glastron stickers that i was going to put on sides !!!! I guess great minds think alike !! lol i will have to post a pic of the sticker , its 5 feet long and 18 inchs high , hay can i use your pic and i will try to put it on the side to see what it looks like ??? john

well we were up to aloha state park here the frist of aug, It will be next year before we get up there again !! where do you fish up there ?? aloha is as far as i have fished up in the lower !! I have been to a few spots in the upper , petes lake , autrain , island lake . love it up there !! John

Hay guys and gals , the wife just gave me a cd it the fish i caught last week , grandma love catfish , so there all for her !! lol it was a great day we caught 25 in about 4 hours , I tied for some wallie early that morning and didnt get any so this was a lot of fun !! John

lol john yo were on mullet lake and i am usualy on burt lake they are connected by the indian river do you have to have electricity when you camp ? there is a nice rustic campground on burt lake

Nope sure dont , we got a power inverter, and a gen i can get my hands on !! hope to have one here next year !! we werent to happy at aloha, dont get me wrong it was ok, but just to close to each other , we didnt get a spot on the water !!

man i was up there looking at the water for that week and you were right there ?? lol

the camp ground here only has 38 sites and there is 20' of woods between most of them except the water side none of them are actual on the water cuz there is a lawn area but you can ancor or run your boat right up to the shore and tie it off it's $15 a nite
