A racist is one who harbors racially based prejudice.<br /><br />Islam is a religion, not a race. Radical Muslim terrorists no more represent Islam than the KKK and paramilitary Christian radicals represent Christianity. Both, of course, claim religious justification for their crimes. Even Hitler said he believed he was doing God's will.<br /><br />I know LF, and I know she is no racist.

Hey guys. I really don't give a flip anymore. Anyone that knows me, knows better. Dedicating the last 8 years of my life to social services and aiding a majority of non-whites means nothing to some. His comment is almost laughable now that I think of it.<br /><br />Matt whether intended or not viewed my response (c&P) as racist only because he is like a cat on a hot tin roof waiting to pounce on right wingers. I totally understand. <br /><br />My apologies to anyone else who was offended.<br /><br />Truth is everyone has a right to their own opinion. Having a place to voice that opinion is nice.

So.... I guess the point to this thread is that you can't be a Muslim, a pirate, and a terrorist at the same time. <br /><br />Only Christians can multi-task that way.

mattttt25, stating a fact is not racism, regardless of the race.<br />Somalis (not Somalians) are Muslims.<br />The punks burning France down are Muslims.<br />Al Quaida is a Muslim terrorist group set on killing Americans.<br />Muslims proclaim a religion of peace, yet the vast majority of Muslim individuals, sects, and organizations refuse to speak out against the ones that intend to do America, Americans, Europeans, Jews and Christians harm. Islam is not a religion of peace. It is a vile, cruel group of animals, their supporters, and their twisted ideas that all infidels (non-Muslims) must either convert to Islam or be killed.<br />Now, about the Somali pirates, they were probably not intent on attacking the ship based on the race or religion of the occupants. Read a little about Somali history since 1991. Somalia is simply an area on the Horn of Africa full of thugs and bandits. They just wanted to plunder the ship.
