Thanks! Can't wait for all this snow to melt so I can get out in my garden and get my boat in the water!Congratulations on the retirement!
Glad you got back on the water and boat is good to go. Plus you got dinnerFinally have water in our local reservoirs! Took the boat out today for a shakedown as it's been almost 2 full years. Last trip was June of 2021. Boat fired up and ran flawlessly. Still running on the gas from 2020 for the inboard. Last summer I bought a 2019 Honda 8hp longshaft to replace the Merc 2 stroke. 3rd pull and it fired up, so put it through it's paces for a bit. Since everything was going smoothly figured I may as well wet a hook. Caught a nice 15in Rainbow and then had to in as a thunderstorm was about to start. Got drowned getting the boat strapped to the trailer. Couldn't have been any wetter if I'd fell in the lake.
Get er done and post some fish picturesMan seeing all these fish pictures is really inspiring me to finish my boat build so I can hit the water.
Will do buddy! I am hoping to be having the boat float and engines run in the next month.Get er done and post some fish pictures
I’m not very photogenic. It’s not that bad in person .The fish sure are better looking than the background!
Just busting your chops a bit ... nice fish for "our climate!" Good job, sir!
Where are you catching them to? And on what? I'm going to try to get into fly fishing this year. Lots of brown trout and brook trout around here but only a few ponds have rainbows....I've never caught one.Only 1 this time out, but at 16 inches I'm not complaining.
