Can someone more enlightened than I please explain why the NFL pre season is still 4 games?

I don't want to waste any time I have here on earth but please, pretty please let it be week 1 of the real season.

Steve Tasker of 1 Bills Live on WGR radio and potential Hall of Fame Special Teamer has the Bills season all figured out. Split the 2 game series with those guys in Foxborough, sweep the Fish and the New Yorkers that don't play in NY and take 5 of the other 6 games and we are 10-6. A Wild Card game is almost a given with a weak AFC so they say, win 6 of the other games and the AFC East can finally be taken from those guys with the funny logo. That was easy Steve. For other than the 3 Bills fans here please disregard the previous text. It might be 2 of us Bills fans here, sorry.

Thank goodness our preseason is over !!! I think this is the first time my team has gone winless in preseason ever .
I pray none of our starters go down because the backups arenā€™t much to talk about ...

The big news out of Buffalo is Pro Bowler LaShawn McCoy was cut today. According to GM Brandon Beane there was no interest from the rest of the league for a trade for 31 year old RB coming off his worst season since being in the league. A fan favorite and exciting to watch but his time like many 30 something RB's is over. They chose to go with 30 something Frank Gore and 3rd round pick Devin Singletary from Florida Atlantic. That's life in the NFL.

Rookie and a special foreign import from the UK, Rugby star Christian Wade also did not make the 53 or practice squad. The fan favorite was an instant sensation when on his very 1st touch of the ball in an NFL game went untouched for 65 yards and a TD. Not many, if any exhibition games are memorable, this one is in my books. The next time he touched a ball was his next exhibition game on a short pass and went 45 yards. Hopefully he catches on with a practice squad and a movie is made after he becomes a NFL semi sensation. The NFL brass in Manhattan loves this stuff.

Gut feeling. Really can't go wrong with either one. 2nd Kittle, 3rd Mahomes............

Still can not believe that in 2 seasons the vikings traded a 5th round draft choice on 2 kickers that did not stay on the roster.

AB upset because the Raiders fined him $54K for missing practices. HA!

They were taalking about the Elliot deal with Jerry. Based on the number of touches he gets every year he will never see a magority of the money in the deal.

Shackey Mc Coy reunited with Andy Reid in KC. I hope he does well. I knew he was odd man out when the Bills signed Frank Gore but was surprised he wasn't tradable if that's a word.

Was hoping Antonio would stay with the raiders to create drama within the team.

Not a Chucky fan at all, but always respected the fact he makes a decisions and sticks with it. In this case I side with him.
