Thanks for saying that. I've been kind of bummed with how the finish came out, yeah and the mess too. Lol. But at the end of the day, I did strip it down to nothing and it's got a good solid coat of paint on it. Should hopefully be durable.Having a solid paint job is first in my mind over one that looks perfect. Perfect is tough to achieve in a garage at home. I hear ya on the paint mess even though the whole place looks like Dexter's kill house that paint vapor still goes everywhere.
I wouldn't have any second thoughts, that boat will catch fish!
Unmasked!
Had a broken spring on the trailer so I replaced both. Got the ole Naden loaded on. I think it looks pretty out in the sun. Still have to mount motor and fish finder, seats....the list goes on, but for all intents and purposes the hull is finished.
I contacted your friend at boreal signs and she quoted me a real fair price. I got thinking about it and I'm pretty sure my Naden is a Canadian one. Maybe a vermillion bay model. Hard to say but it doesn't have the Iowa transom caps. So after striking out on Canadian Naden logo stickers, I sent a pic to a local decal guy and same day had them in hand. Really completes it in my opinion.Your boat looks done - congrats!
