backwards in time---- DSC02209.JPG DSC02210.JPG DSC02211.JPG sure seems like I'm going backwards on this one.

the tight fit of the front panel slit the new vinyl and I have it back out of the boat. going back with carpet instead. Of coarse I've got more black carpet backing to scrape off . was going to leave it bare but want the sound dampening effect from the carpet. Most will be covered by a casting deck and side storage anyway.
Still have not worked out the instrument dash problem yet but have decided to do that last since it has been another major pain in the lower backside.

sorry if I left anyone hanging on this project but all I can say is that the Chemo is too strong and the radiation too much so I'll be back in a couple of months to finish this one up once this crapola is done with.

Sorry to hear about the health stuff but hang in there and keep fighting! A positive attitude of "getting it done" can make all the difference.

Once you're feeling better and ready to tackle the project once more, we'll be here waiting to help! :thumb:

Best wishes to you. :)

Kick it in the rear and we'll be here when you get back in action on the SS.

Concentrate on the important stuff, the SS and the help here will be available when you get back to it.

Be sure to stop by occasionaly, esp @ end of the 1st week of Jan 2018. The SOTY topic will be up and running for voting. The nominees will appreciate the vote.

Well looks like I'm back from the dead again and slowly picking up steam . But , this will be my last post on iboats since they continue to cancel my membership to this forum and I have repeatedly signed back up but this time I'm just tired of the harassment. Too many other good sites on the internet to deal with this petty BS.
Thanks for all the good advise , I was having a good time here most of the time anyway. good luck and good by.

still haven't figured out what to do about the dash that holds the instrument panel but believe that I will have to try and make one out of plywood and aluminum .

I guess the best way to get budski to help out is just to ask him if he would post up the tutorial on the SS helm dash panel for gauges. :D
