I'm not 100% certain, but I think you are correct. I can check when I get home this evening and let you know then.;)

If I hooked a temp gauge up to wire pretruding from head if the temp gauge would work instead of useing dumby light

Here's the deal that's a cylinder head temp sensor on there now. If you use the same type of gauge it will work.

So I got my cable for steering I thought Iit was 3/16 but its 1/4 with covering it fits inside pulleys but will this be a problem when redo it

I only had to buy the ones attached to motor other four were fine hopefuly gonna start it tomorrow.

Still gotta add more tension and cut the cables but it works.

Tip: Before you get it all bundled up. Go to Advanced Auto or one of the other Parts store and get the largest Diameter Heat Shrink tubing they have or some Heat Shrink Tape. If you get the tubing, undo the cable and slip the tubing on and then reattach. That way when you clamp the cables where you want them and cut the cable you can use the heat shrink tubing to stuff the cut end into and heat it up to tie em toghether and look nice with no little cable wires to poke anyone.

I didn't either...Until I went back and Re-Did it after the wires poked me a couple of times!!!:eek::D

Learn as you go, its what happens doing things yourself but it saves in labor.

Put new head on torque bolts to 15ftlb and noticed that motor had been rebuilt at some point teason how I kno is cause could see cross hatch on cylinders. Only thing I'm worried about is therrs little play in the pistons is this normal. I know there aluminium is it to compinsate the expansion of the metal.
