I finally caught up and finished! Outstanding!!! Congrats on a great job! Makes me want to start on my tinnie before I get a pad to work on. Well done! I'm signing up to see through this year's Splash of the Year!

Thanks All for the compliments...

Here is a bit of update, the only thing left are the cockpit seats... halfway done there... Target splash day is the 31st or Aug 1st.

Same process as before. I screwed up the firsts set of pleats and had to start over.

The hinged back rest..

Took me a few minutes to figured out why the last pix looks weird... what appears to be the side plate of the cushion, is actually the top housing for the windshield...optical illusion I guess.

Bach to stitching....have a good night!!

Cor, make it Aug 1st, that's my birthday and it will be my present from you to watch you flying across the lake in that beautiful boat. :D Good luck on whatever day it is.

HAHA WOG, you taught me...

Well, I am happy to say I have two things left to do on the boat...a WOT wake (2 weeks from now) and officially name her. The "Nauti-Thoughts" decal is being made.

Was able to get the seats done on schedule!!!

Here is a before and after.....

Just the little blue paint swoosh on the front of the bottom blue section makes all the difference in the world on how much sleeker it looks now .. I was a bit skeptical on changing from red to blue but I must admit you made the right choice there Cor ..;)
Definitely one of my favorite restorations !! :hail:

She is BEAUTIFUL!!! She is gonna be an inspiration to lots of people for years on this forum. You should be proud of the amazing job you've done. I just can't get over how sleek she looks sitting on the trailer much less in the water. Absolutely fabulous from stem to stern!

I like the rest can't wait to see you flying down the lake in her.:encouragement:

Decided to Splash early....After talking to WoG, I want to complete the water trials and get a feel for the boat before I put my most prized possessions in her. (wife and kids) I am happy to say everything went well short the tach is still set wrong. Ran her for about 1.5 hours no issues. No issues right until I ran out of fuel pulling a broken boat back to the ramp.

I guess when it says "E" that means empty.... I know now that I can trust the gauge!!!!

Click the pix,....
