I will tomorrow got to borrow my girlfriends camera its buried in the garage im going to take a bunch of pictures along with lots of questions to go with. P.S.the grinding sucks i didnt think it would be that bad but WOW was i wrong i recently acquired a full face respirator hopfully that will be a little better than the half mask

Long sleeves and make sure to coat yourself, face, arms, belly and back with Baby Powder. Really helps keep the itch away.

Baby powder huh i have been wearing a tyvek suit but it still finds its way to my skin. good video that helps a ton. what do you use when grinding i have been using an extra coarse 24 grit sanding disk

I use 36 grit resin coated sanding discs with a rubber backup pad. Harbor Freight has em...

I'd listen to Woodsy he has saved me many times when I did and got a lot of told you so's when I didn't (and never once from him). the talc surely cuts the itch factor.

This is what i got so far not sure if im right but you should be looking to remove the fiber glass so you cant see a seam were the deck meets the side

when i was grinding the corners of the transom i got a little deep and knocked a little hole do i just let the thickened resin fill it in to me it looks as if the original fiberglass job was kinda crappy

anyone have any clue what kind of fiberglass i have i got it from a friend and not sure what it is i have pictures on the previous page if anyone can tell i never really seen fiberglass rolls before so i need a little help identifying what it is i got

I looked, and Looked again, and then researched but I have no clue what it is. Send a PM to OOPS he might know. Roll it out and take a pic of it as a sheet.

I was wondering on the side of my boat up near the top it looks like someone hit it with a truck or something cause it has a old patch that was just one layer of CSM over it what should I do to repair it I ground out the inside ill post a new pic of it tonight but you can see it in one of my old pictures as well
