You are correct sir. They will bolt up. But they also have differing diaphragm materials and operating pressures, as well as longer/shorter levers. Like I said, wasn't trying to argue with ya'. :) A universal like the Holley can be made/modified to work with most any of them.

Ayuh,... 'n Badbowtie only needs 1 for his Mercruiser...

Just like the 1 he Broke....

Well I called teleflex which makes the pump and they said the same thing as you bond-o the ports are the only thing different. So I will have another pump here tomorrow.

Well I got another pump yesterday and got it on and pulled it out and it started right up. I have a clunk noise coming from the rear of the motor on the starboard side. It is not consistent and it only does it if I have the idle under 850 I can I dle at 850-900 and it will never make the noise I can bump the throttle up to 1500-2000 and it does not come back and sounds great. I have no Idea what it could be and it started to drizzle again so I shut it of and backed it back in the garage.

Ayuh,... If the idle is above 650/ 700 rpms, in gear, in the water, you'll destroy the drive in no time...

I figured I can't idle higher than about 650-700 but I am going to try to figure out what the problem is before I ever launch the boat. I just have no idea what that sound is never heard nothing like it.

I pulled the boat out again and started it again, I think the noise that I am hearing is the shutters in the y pipe, but I tried to set the timing I have the delco est distributor set up, and when I install the 4 pin plug that has the looped wire and connect 12 volts to the other wire, and set it to 8 degrees, and remove the 4 pin plug and raise the rpm's to 2200 the timing still reads 8 degrees, not sure why it is not advancing.
