My goal is to restore at least one of as many types of boat possible before my times up ..
I,v covered the 60's classic runabout. I have always loved the 70's go fast ski boats so I think the Borum will fit the bill ..
Not a lot of info on these boats and I don,t think there were many made . They were made right here in J-ville by a guy named Don Borum ..
I may start a thread on it after I get a chance to clean it up . At least 200 lbs of oak leaves in there . I sure hope the 175 checks out . I took the cowling off and was able to turn the flywheel without to much effort . There was no controls unless they are buried under the mulch . It took me ,Chris , and my son Ryan to wrestle the motor into the garage and onto a saw horse ..The thing weighs a ton !! :faint2:
Maybe next one will be a tinny !
