Good times for sure! I only see my brother about once or twice a year, sure is nice when you do get to spend time with them. Boat looks good!

Nice family day on the water! Thanks for sharing this. I hope your brother doesn't want his boat back, lol.

You KNOW I'm a wood boat LOVER but...IMHO that one is NOT worth the asking price. Wood boats LIKE water. Being stored for a LONG time can create issues that aren't readily noticeable. She's also a Center steer boat and that's not my cup of tea. Having said all this, if she strikes your fancy and you go and do a thorough inspection then...she could possibly be brought back to be quite a LOOKER especially with your skill set!!!!

Price is a bit steep ... But from the looks of the pics it seems in good shape .. I kinda agree on the rear center steering but I would image it could get moved to the front idk .. This is a 55 but I would think the 50 would look pretty much the same ..What interests me is it's not a large boat and doesn't look like it needs to be completely torn apart .. Something to get the feet wet with to see if I'm into the working on wood boats ... Are there issues with running them in salt water ?
The Admiral gave the ohhh thats pretty but then I got the hard to read evil eye like it could go either way ..

Wood boats in salt water are not a problem as long as the hull is thoroughly sealed. The varnish will not be adversely effected unless you plan on leaving it moored for extended periods of time. A quick wash at the car wash each time you bring her home will keep everything "Ship Shape". As I said, If she strikes you fancy and no "Cracked Bones", and the "Evil Eye" turns a little softer, then... "Haul Away"!!!

Sent email . We'll see what happens .. Wish people would just put phone or text on their adds . Just makes it easier ..
Did not mention if it had a title so that may be a deal breaker ...

Yep ! I've been wanting an old woody . You don't see them to often and with the shape she is in I couldn't resist ..;)
She did compromise a little on the asking price . Now I gotta make room in the garage ..
