Yeah, I was just asking if you'd be able to get the cap sprayed too. Eventually  Most excellent news!

Hope you cast into some big ole' lunkers Sunday. We also might make a late afternoon fishing jag tomorrow.

Thanks guys...looking forward to a good finish...:)

The Big O was awesome...we put in just before sunrise, weather was was a real nice 85? with a breeze from the West...got into the shallow grassy areas just North of South Bay and a little West of the rim canal...

Man, the Bass were jumping all around us, just taunting us...my buddy hooked the first one on his second cast, but it was 1/2 an inch too short for a keeper at 13-1/2"...then a few minutes later either a sea monster or a really big Bass stripped my Spiderwire clean of bait and left me with some frayed line...a little later, my buddy hooked another, got him right to the boat and it spit out the bait and got away...well the rest of the morning pretty much went that way, he'd hook one, then it would spew the hook, I had another one looked huge when it breached the water shred my line again...by noon, we were spent from casting so much and not landing anything we decided to try for some channel cats using bacon, half hour or so later...not so much as a nibble...called it day...

Had a Blast!:D:D:D

Like they say, even a bad day fishing is better than the best day at work...:D

Great day on the water anyway though!

Needed some of that nice shiny glitter paint on the hull to shock & awe 'em as they approached the boat.

Might have netted themselves

Good to getaway from the boat sanding and all for a while I,ll bet ! Even if nothing was landed still sounds like a good time ..

Water time, good...
I will pass judgement on all of the effort put into making the hull as glittery and shiny as soon as it gets all bloody with a full limit for the day...until then, the sweat and anxiety continues...

Thanks, S.P. Yes it was a great time...still smiling :)

Thanks Decker, any time fishing is a huge inspiration to get this thing done...every time we go out and I see other glitter boats racing around, it makes me want to go home and work on my tub...then the fish start biting and I forget all about it...;)

Fortunately, the booth is there for me whenever I am ready...and definitely sooner than later...:D

Have a great week everyone, and hurry up Friday!

Re: Love, Necessity and Pride

Hey GT, just caught up on your thread after my trip. You got me on your first MS Paint posting. All I could see was the picture and not the MS Paint comment. I was in awe of your progress until I scrolled down.

When I saw the boat on the trailer, I thought there were only two reasons it could be there: off to the dump (but knew that wasn't possible) or off to the paint booth. Sorry I missed the competition. But congrats on scoring the use of the booth. Man, with all the free stuff, great deals, and negotiated facilities, I wanted to ask you to be the Logistical Procurement Specialist (LPS) for my project.

Sea ya...
