I thought it looked faster w/ a bit of a slant:)

Like that Monte Carlo we all liked in high school w/ the little tires out front & the big street & strip tires out back w/ the double leaf springs.....

Hey brutha,

I'm digging what you have going on man... I love the laminated stringer blank... What a cool idea! Not sure if I need to do that myself, but it gives me some ideas.. Again, great craftsmanship dude! Looking forward to your progress.....

you are a true craftsman! doin a great job on those stringers. Thanks for the sweet pics of the blue sky and palm trees. I'll have pleasant dreams about that tonight. The admiral and I are thinking about an April trip down to your state for a few days to get us through to summer :)

Re: Love, Necessity and Pride

Thanks again, for the visits, guys...

Quick update of progress...

Center Stringer closer to finished height/profile, Knee Stringers trimmed for the crossbrace height, and the Transom Crossbrace almost perfectly fit...

And the two outer most Stringers, roughly fitted...

Some non-boat things to take care of tomorrow, but I hope to get some time to get the last couple stringers cut out.

Some final fitting and tweaking, then on to the next step...whatever that is...

Hope everyone is having a great weekend.
Later,
GT1M

Cardboard strips, hot glued, similar to what granite counter top installers use to make a template/outline of the base cabinets...
Gets me a fairly close guide to go by for the bottom of the stringer.
You can see the one I made for the Keel Stringer in Post #199, Pic #4.
I am leaving plenty of height for final finishing, after I get the stringers faired to the hull with many passes of the grinder and lots of test fits...plus some eyeballing, to boot...
I also use a compass and a block of wood and my finger spacer, while holding the pencil...whatever gets me there...
