Not going to knock the NBA....BUT....if they would not take so many off-days, they could have played last night and we'd be on tonight.
Of course, it is hoops....they need the extra time to recuperate, not like hockey. :)

yeah I worked in La Vergne yesterday and decided to take Joe B over to 41 and had a relaxed drive home. Seems like I did the same last year and stayed on 24 and it was just really heavy not too slow just lots of lane changes and having to monitor. Plus before I got off 24 I'm guessing about 75% of the people I passed/passed me were texting.

BTW my post was supposed to say U2, not US.



So, game 5...... I thinking Preds might be able to do it - either way it will be closer spread than we've seen based on momentum. I'll say one point. I also got $1 that says it will be an OT game.

Tonight will be very telling. If they can win in Pittsburgh ... I may just have to go downtown on Sunday night.

Actually - I think if the Pens win tonight, it'll go all 7 and in an absolutely epic 7th game shootout.

To be honest, the flightless birds with the funny suits have a pretty good shot at winning if it goes 7 games. But I think it's a close call. If the Preds win tonight - which will not be easy - then I really think we'll see a cup win here on Sunday.

That said - the Predators really don't have to win this cup (though I really want 'em to). They've changed the face of hockey in Nashville for the next several years just fighting this series out.

I have only half heartedly watched one game. If they win this next one I'll watch, closely, the next two.
