Re: Light Bulbs

Kid goes up to the old man and says the lightbulb needs changing. The old man, being a Zen Master, says........
"Change must come from within"...........

Re: Light Bulbs

This is a very consistent thread about theory and proves a couple things
Since reading this thread last year the only theory that can really be proved is the Dark Sucker theory! Either the modern electric bulb or the oil lamp which I have a few or its predecessor, the candle. When they get full and turn dark they no longer work. It also proves that modern day Dark Suckers and other thing like computers, eggbeaters, TV’s etc actually don’t run on electricity but actually run on smoke.
To prove this go back to the Oil Lamps and Candle Dark Suckers, they also let out Smoke while Sucking in the Dark. When they got full and turned dark they also had no more smoke left in them. Turn on a electric (miss named as they should be called Smoke) item and if smoke comes (gets) out they no longer work also!
Gotta love modern Science ;)
Had to add, I'm not to sure how the next generation of LED Dark Suckers is going to play in this so I dont think they really work! :D

Contact the government and get a grant to research and write a procedural manual for "Changing a Dark Sucker".

This could be bigger than the $600 toilet seat! :D :D :D

Yes everyone knows that bulb failure can only led to the dark side.

------

Also, according to Dhadley if you adjust your setup so that you can spin the bulb at 5800 - 6000 rpms it will never fail due to filament coking. ;)
