30 yrs ago, I remember going down a Highway, and a Car was pulled over on the Shoulder. I saw a guy crossing the Road, Camera in hand, so I looked over and saw a couple of Bear Cubs, I also noticed Mama Bear, over on the side of the Road where he had parked... I just kept driving...

Got out fishing with my daughter last Saturday. First time we’ve been fishing together in 4 years. Starting back in about 2012 we would go fishing every Father’s Day.

Mama Kildeer looking over her nest. We get a few nests every year. This one is out by the mailbox but we had 4 hatch up by our front yard a couple of weeks ago. The little Kildeer babies running around following mama are just the cutest things ever. It’s hard to get pictures of them cuz they’re fast and just a couple of days after hatching they disappear.

Years back when I was a young kid I would mow large open fields. Those things would nest right out in the open. When you got near the nest the adult birds would run away from the nest dragging a wing. Trying to decoy you away from the nest. I avoided the nest when I could unfortunately I’m sure I dragged that 12 foot deck over a few.

We have a killdeer that makes a nest in the gravel parking lot at our church EVERY year. She does her wounded act on adults and larger kids, but smaller kids she goes into attack mode!

The transom is finally done, now the engine and all the hardware go back in. This free boat, costed me about $2k for parts, did all the labor myself thanks to YouTube and this forum. Before and After pics. Hopefully I can get some good years out of her.
Giving me flashbacks to my Crestliner.

Well now you know what you have and don’t have to wonder whats going on under there.
It’s always nice when you don’t have to wonder if this trip will be the last.
I have seen a few boats towed in with the transom missing and a couple that still had the outboard hanging on by the steering cable.
Never a good day but at least they stayed afloat which always amazed me.

Entrance to Lloyd Harbor Long Island, a relative of mine lives there. Not far from my house. When they say no wake they're not kidding!

I know that place, right around the corner from Station Eatons Neck. Spent time between Eatons Neck and Kings Point years back.

After all the rain the falls are like they are in spring. My hometown further north is flooded....
