EaresTBass, that boat looks a bit ass heavey? Just wondering is that how it always sits?

LOL, yeah. The transom is actually not quite to the rear of the side decal. Beyond that it tapers to the swim platform, so it looks like it sits really low.

Here it is and only 1 month old (to me). I've waited 20 years to finally own a small sport cruiser like this. I grew up cruising Green Bay and Door County, WI on a similar size Sea Ray with my parents. Previously I owned a small 17' open-bow outboard for a few years but sold that back in '04. Looking forward to 2007!

2004 Scout Dorado 175 with Yamaha 90 4-stroker.

I like 'em clean and clutter free. After a day gathering sand and potato chip crumbs with the family, just open the scuppers and turn the hose on her!

Check out this hull design. Some deadrise to handle chop then dead flat with a hook toward the chines for lateral stability. I've only got a couple hours on her so I don't know how this theory will pan out. Stay tuned.

NOW I have time to get the Harley's out and go for some Autumn RIDES! 25 foot B/L VP 350, B/L 20 foot 125hp Cuddy, 14 foot over-powered do anything boat (12 foot rowboat and the 25 plus motors out back not shown)

Yeah, they are pretty doggone close. Mine only had the teak on the swim platform, hatch cover & bow (became too hi-maintenance for me - replaced with non-skid paint). Also, hard to see in the pic, but my hull color is a real light gray & yours looks pure white. Nice taste!

Here is a pic of my project that I bought off of ebay for $405 in June. You can search( I aborted the project) for more info on it. It`s a 89 Mark Twain walk around and it rides like a dream handles the rough water off of Montauk very good. Best $405 dollars I ever spent,all total with trailer I have about $2100 and around 30 hrs work into it.
