Re: I'm a troll
My wife and I have had the Dem vs Rep discusion many times, especially this year. She claims to be Republican, her entire family is Republican. My family is democrat, but I don't feel I am Democrat or Republican. To further complicate things, I don't feel my wife is Republican either. Here is why:

We both are in favor of abortion AS LONG AS IT IS NOT USED AS A FORM OF BIRTH CONTROL. I have a 13 year old daughter, she was conceived at a very inoportune time in my life, but I never ever considered aborting her. My belief is rape victims, addicts, the very poor and unhealthy should have abortions. The resulting child usually is compromised, unhealthy and becomes a huge burden on society. Healthy adults or teens should carry to term and adopt out their unwanted children. There is no shortage of the need for healthy children by those who cannot concieve.

We both have no problem with homosexuality. It will never go away so it should be accepted, even though it doesn't necessarly need to be embraced by all. Marriage is a religious institution, which does not accept homosexuality. A marriage equivelant should exist that allows gay couples to benefit the same as married, but doesn't need to be called "marriage". Its a word game, not that hard to play. Let those who not agree with the gay lifestyle have the term "marriage", and let those who do agree have the term "union, life partners, whatever" as long as everyone has equal benefit.

we both do not agree with the Iraq war, we felt it was a big enough mistake to not want Bush a second term, but we supported him for his first term. Eliminate the Iraq war, and we had no problem with Bushes other policies. He is now our president for a second term, and we will support him because that is what Americans do.

we do not believe that wealth should be redistributed amoung the populous, I do not believe that people should be allowed to stay on welfare for extended amounts of time. I am not a huge fan of excessive tax, but things have to be paid for somehow.

I have no idea what I could be called because I agree and disagree with both parties just like my wife does. I think the difference between trolling and expressing your views is simple wording. I try to voice my beliefs in a way that does not enrage, it has been percieved that you try to enrage. Just some alterations in wording your view may help out a bit. I'm certainly no expert, but I've been coexisting here with the majority for quite some time without major trauma. Other than my mindless rant yesterday, of which I regret, I still feel we can disagree and still stay within the boundaries of respect. Thats how you avoid the troll label.
