Mercy, you do not understand us AT ALL. We may talk sorta funny, but these gentlemen and ladies we have the fine company of here,are just that. They are for the most part, able to read,write and "cypher" well enough to be angered by heartless trolls. Some are far more educated than you or I,no doubt. Now, why is it,you have not aswered my 4 questions? They are not that difficult. If you do not answer them,to your shame, I will after a gracious amount of time has passed. But they are key to your understanding of this new and frightning world we find ourselves in. I strongly urge you to stay on-topic, on debate,and refrain from the little "Uneducated" digs. Apologies first to 12 footer for our mail having so un unfruitfully being so close. Secondly and most importantly one would like to bring to the atention of the one j b cornwell. Heartless trolls? Hold ones hand on ones heart and vow that your ancestory has less heart than ourselves. Snivling whinger? And before I mention this god bless all who were involed in this war. How many were lost in Vietnam who were US personell? How many percentage related were of foreign nationalaty related to this war? How many films have the Americans made on this war? How many films have the remaining percentiage made on the war? Amazing? No it just is an understanding of who IS the snivler and who wishes to lay dormant remembering our brothers with respect. Not taking the **** but do you know the meaning of snivler? Or do you simply guess words from the Engish dilect? NEVER MIND, Mercy. I didn't realize, (being a silly Anerican), that you don't have too many libraries over there. So here ya go; 1: What do all the victorious conflicts have in common? They were fought by generals trained in America and other friendly countries,in the art of war. They carry the resolve of our nation on thier shoulders,and in thier hearts. America is a wonderfull place. You can literaly BURN the flag of this nation..A flag which represents those generals and other soldiers who gave thier lives to protect it,AND LIVES!! Hell, you may even make a living selling bottles of pee with a crucafix upside down in it,by calling it "ART". America is still a "super power" for good reasons. These are life, Liberty, and the peruit of happiness. All men ARE INDEED created equal. 2: What do the qaugmires have in common? These qaugmires are a direct result in armchair generals. They were the result of "police actions". Our president ,as commander in chief, has the power to send our military into harm's way,and to have it run from senatorial and Pentegon chairs...Not to overtake or defeat an enemy, but to act as a police force,and try to protect the oppressed citizenry.Such icursions usually fail because other nations WANT us to fail. I remember Jane Fonda, and William Sorge back when I was in R.O.T.C. They would've spit on me if they saw me. The dirty looks from the dirty people left scars to this day. If this nation as a people stand behind our armed forces, defeat and stalemates are automaticly rulled-out. 3: How many British buisness persons and tourists were killed on September 11? One was too many!!!!!! 4: What makes this one different from all the conflicts listed above? It was the Pentagon,yes..But it was also the WORLD Trade Center. A workplace and symbol of a global economy that is growing, and becoming more globally unified daily. It was as if everyone's mother was shot for her purse, by some rich puke who didn't really need the money..He just didn't like old ladies,or WHAT CHURCH THEY WENT TO..AND HE DIDN'T EVEN KNOW WHICH CHURCH THEY WENT TO!!!!! These hoods of civilization need to be rubbed-out. Atrocitiy is new to us. We have sat back,and let it take place. We have shook our American fingers at the evil doers who came before Aqueda. Some in this country may have even SUPORTED such acts. THAT'S AMERICA FOR YOU!! But as a people, Attrocities were NOT in our arsenal. Well,it just may be now. Oh, sure, the Northern Alliance will probably execute these tactics. But trust me, if they don't we will. All successfull conflicts had one other thing in common,Mercy. They met thier objective as stated at the onset of hostilties. The objectives in this conflict are to "stamp-out terrorism wherever it may hide, and those countries which harbor them. In the imortal words of my Father, when he caught me sneekin-out of the house one mornin to go fishun, "You done stepped in it now, boy!" We know Aqueda is in your country (Africa) en mass. Just found this "Nothing to Do With Boats" section tonight and have been reading through it. I too, am VERY proud to be an American. I served in the U.S. Navy for 6 years back in the 1980's. I've been watching this War on Terrorism on CNN for quite some time now and I'm sick of sitting on my sorry a$$ and NOT contributing anything to the effort. I've decided to go back into the Military as a Reservist in the National Guard. I figure that while I'm still young and strong, I should be doing whatever I can for this great country of ours. After Pearl Harbor, my Dad, my Uncles, and my Father-In-Law couldn't get downtown to sign up quick enough. They all felt the need and obligation to defend and fight (and possibly die) for our country in it's time of need. These men defined the words Courage, Duty, Sacrifice, and Bravery and I consider it an honor to be able to follow in the footsteps of such great Americans!!! Always Remember...... "FREEDOM ISN'T FREE!!!"

God bless you, Trailbum. I keep telling people about wht I saw 9-12-01, downtown. In the city where I live, all the recuiting offices are side-by-side.They are next to a movie house. I was dispatched to this "strip mall", and As I turned into the parking lot, I noticed this long line of young folks,wearing thier way2bigs and earings thru thier cheeks. I shook my head in my customary "What this young generation coming to" shake... AS I neared the front of this complex, I noticed they were not in line to get into the theater. It wasn't even open yet..No, they were STANDING IN LINE FOR THE RECRUITMENT OFFICES!!! I regained my respect for my fellow Americans that day. And I can relax in the knowlage that our homeland is in excellent hands. Again,Trailbum,thanks. And us old farts will support you from the homefront any way we can.

Thank you for the kind words 12 Footer. I was at the MEPS Station up in Baltimore last week taking a Physical and the ASVAB test (it's been 20 years since I LAST took it!!!) Spent the day with a bunch of dumbass, young punks who were there for the same reason. I kept thinking to myself "If these kids are the future of our Military.... we're in Trouble!!!" But as we well know, Boot Camp will make them grow up in a hurry. These kids just need to be given some direction, and they're CERTAINLY about to receive it!!!! I agree with you, America is in VERY capable hands.... Please don't call yourself an old Fart... you're not much older than I am. I'm 43, but feel much younger!!!!

You are not worthy of licking a true British citizen's BOOTS!!!! You have met,and will continue to meet Genuine American resolve.... Some of these people slaughtered have families who loved them on both sides of the conflict. And they are the targets of future "missions". And what is the poop about Americans killing British? The same garbage about WWII that I thought I steered you straight on (with the facts i might add)??? In te Gulf War, I hate to be the one to burst yer bubble,but the Britsish were ON OUR SIDE!!!
