Very productive weekend again
Got one of the seats in
The center window open and closes good now
Got the electric all system all done
And fired up the motor

This is probably a stupid question but ...
should I put any Teflon tape on my boats drain plug
And should I crank it down or just snug it up

I had one on my SeaRay and just put it in snug, no tape. You will be taking it in and out all the time (assuming this is the transom drain). I never had a problem leaking, brass seals fairly well and its not under pressure. I do like the ones better that use expansion plugs. Finding a wrench is always a pain in the ass.

Never had any issues with my brass one on the old Carver. Just pulled in in the Fall when it came out of the water and snugged it up in the Spring before launch. Never leaked with no coating on it.

Like everyone else stated, no tape, just snug. I pull out the plug after every trip, usually on the ramp.

Well
i splashed the boat today
Everything went great with the exception that I was heading to the ramp and ran out of gas 50ft from shore
I need to take a minute and give everyone on here a big thank you from my first carb rebuild to tabbing to pouring in foam and of course Wog's help with the paint .... I could have never gotten to the water without everyone's help
I'm still going to make a glove box door to match the dash in wood and buy another gas tank
