Start by replacing the motor - check
Add stereo - check
Realize the rest of the boat will cost several times what it's worth to repair - check
Set the asking price based on what he already has "invested" -

Only $3500 over priced...

Yeah all that and he's one of "those guys" who don't know/care how well sound travels over water.

That thing looks like it's been beat hard and just destroyed. The hull will most likely never run well unless it's repaired by a pro. Let's face it the outboard most likely hasn't been cared for any better than the 1/2 covered pile of junk it's bolted too.

$300 boat and trailer 20' must be picked up tomorrow - $300
That derelict boat has been posted & re-posted numerous times on CL w/ the same price, same carp pix & same BS:
MUST BE PICKED UP TOMORROW

I wish them luck, they'll need lots & lots of it, in PA w/ no title & asking $300. If it sells for anywhere near $300, they should immediately roll all the $ over into Powerball tix, because it's the luckiest day of their life. I guess that's not right, if their that lucky, they won't have to buy a tix, they'll likely win the big bucks on a tix they find blowing in the wind........

I might be a 'buyer' at getting PAID the $300 to haul it off

That is one of the worst stereo installs I've seen in a long time. It's just a random sprinkling of mis-matched speakers haphazardly tossed into plywood. What's worse is that it actually looks like he put effort in this disaster. Just.... ugh, lol.

I just love the sellers who state..."must sell it immediately", or "moving-can't take it with me", or "lost my storage place, have no where to put it."

THEN they have the nerve to say...NO LOWBALLERS!

Well genius, if you admit that you are in a desperate situation...people are going to want to help relieve you of your burden...for a price.

A LOW one!

Yea no ****. Then, if you do show up there and try and work you in a good deal, they act like they have gold. I'm glad somebody has some sense. To be honest, I think that either A)There are some really STUPID boat owners out there or B) Boats depreciate so quickly when they sit outside and rot, that the sellers are literally PRAYING for some genius to come take a look.
