hey i know what you mean im in toronto canada its -10 i had a boat for sale, 2 days ago i had a guy email me to see if it was ok to meet tomorow that he wanted a in water test that he had several different props he would like to try. told him boat was winterized and in storage,lake is frozen and its minus 10 plus wind chill this guy lived 10 minutes away from me and got all in a huff that i wouldnt take him out for a test!!! this is a common thing on craigslist up here an getting more common good luck!!!!!!!!!!!Ralph

Reading through this thread made my sides hurt... and inspired me to check out my local craigslist. Didn't take me long to find more gold, once I was looking for it. For example... http://spokane.craigslist.org/boa/2152275017.html 15k for an 83 foot boat with a 26hp v8? I don't know why I might be more careful typing out an ad for something I was selling for that kinda cash.

i guess the boats not that bad, but its kinda funny how he says its so awesome, but only shows pics of it upside down. anyway, what i found the best part was that he says hes open to trades. This guy is selling a jon boat, and hes open to trades for a jon boat or jet ski.

14 foot jon boat reduced check it out 950 - $1150 (lilburn)

I would trade or sell i would trade for any water toys such as jon boat jet ski figure if i sell my boat will nee to get another one and trade would be good for us both.

I have this boat asking 1700 OBO , I dont know if the engine run, someone told me that it does, the sale include the trailer too..and if you been looking for a boat , engine size is 175hp Mercury , need interior work , you know allready that the trailer alone is worth 1500, if you interested please call 951-282-7118 and leave a mesage, or trade for a small car 4 doors..or....let me know what you have, MAKE ME ANY OFFER I NEED TO PAY MY RENT, SO YOU NEVER KNOW I MAY SAY YES.

A $1500 trailer a $200 boat and a 175HP anchor, sounds like a great deal to me:facepalm:

That's a great on Dan. Interesting boat, I've never seen a bow rail on one of those.

Actually in the 70's and early 80's bowrails were pretty common here in CA, AZ, NV on what we called mini day-cruisers. They had a raised deck at the helm and then a long sleek closed bow, often with a rail:
