LMAO this post has particular personal comedy for me. The lake I frequent is the town I grew up in. It is a very shallow 1,220 acre lake, and a guy has one of those out there people go on a 45 minute ride on. It has a name, the princess something, but we always forget so we just make a name for her every time we see it.

It's such a cheesy boat.

HI I AM LOOOKING FOR A BOAT FOR ME IN MY UNCLE FOR FISHING WE REALLY CAN'T AFFORD NO BOAT SO IF YOU A GOOD RUNNING BOAT CAN WE HAVE IT FOR FREE..CALL ME AT 716-

I?ll get right on that! lol

Laugh all you want. Back in 1989 I had a brand new Mazda Miata. First on the block with a Miata (they were a new model and hot. Dealers could not keep them in stock). I was not going to drive the car in the winter. I put out an add that said looking for a car in reasonable shape the runs and will pass inspection for free. I got several calls. I ended up getting a 1979 Chevy Chevette. The owner said it ran rough and he could not fix. I took the car for free. Looked it over and it was missing the bolt to the hold the distributor housing in and the windshield wipers didn't work. A trip to the junkyard, $25 for a wiper motor and bolt and 90 minutes of work and she was ready to go. I drove that car for 2 winters before the radiator blew and I junked it.

People get rid of good junk (not to be confused with junky junk) all the time. You just need to be in the right place at the right time.

That is BAD*****!!!! A fireplace on it? Don't know the functionability of it though.

What was that Motivational Speaker character played by Chris Farley who lived in "A van down by the river"??:D

Now we know.

I thought the fireplace sounded cool too. It reminds me of those old Toyota 4-banger pickups with the GIANT cabovers that they actually called RV's back in those days  I guess this was the same idea... to make a mini-houseboat that was trailer-able. All it's missing is pin-striping, a unicorn mural, a porthole window (wait...this may be the ONLY 1980 van that actually needed a "porthole" window!) and a "If this boats a rockin', don't bother knockin' " bumper sticker. Bet it has shag carpet.

Damn...now I'm tempted to go see it (45 mins away) just for sh*t's and grins...I bet the kids would love it:D

Looks like it, complete with a fake grill. I wonder if the side door slides open? lol That would look so cool driving up to the lake pulling it with a similar type van.

No lie!...I just spent the better part of a week getting to and replacing (not to mention the work at the machine shop that is always necessary) a head gasket in a V8 van... the price of the gasket was so NOT part of the problem :)

I finally have one! Great Ad!

Hello fellow booty pirates! What I have here is a 2001 Bayliner Capri up for sale that is in very great condition. Why are we selling? Well my hot studly friend and I need a bigger boat to attract more females as you see in the provided picture. Having a boat is the #1 way to attract the women and I strongly believe that every guy should get one. Look at the picture of the 3 of the many fine ladies* we have on this boat. My friend and I aren't rich, we aren't famous, we just look good and have a boat. We don't make much money either so we combined our government cheese and decided to buy this boat this past winter. I rate the boat a 8 out of 10 in looks and performance. It is equipped with a 130 horsepower mercruiser motor with a 19 pitch prop and we also have an additional 21 pitch prop as a backup for you. The boat has a nice cd/mp3 player that will keep the ladies bouncing their ( o )( o ) if you know what i mean. The boat does also include a depth/fish finder and a trolling motor if you ever were to decide to go fishing. The trailer is in great shape and the tires are still good and is all ready for you to go to the lake to catch with some nice looking women. Don't be like the guy** in the last picture that didn't buy this boat. He was left stranded and got chewed up and spit back out by shamu in lewisville lake. This boat will fit 7-8 people and will tow tubers, wakeboarders and skiers with no problems. Please feel free to contact with any questions regarding this boat.

*women are not included in this sale, but a date with one or all could be possible if the price is right

**this guy will be included with the boat. he will keep you entertained for hours at the lake with his shamu diving skills

Are there any romantics out there? I have 2 boats and a wife. - $3800

Are there any romantics out there? I have 2 boats and a wife. I have to sell one of my boats since I can't sell my wife, at least not in this country. :)
I'm parting with my 17ft aluminum Sportsman's Bluefin. It has a 50HP Force motor, a Minn-Kota trolling motor, 2 batteries and battery charger. There's an aerated live-well for minnows or the day's catch, a built-in cooler for beverages, an Eagle fish finder and an AM/FM/CD player. Brand new waterproof marine speakers and electrical updates. Also brand new deluxe seats, trailer-able boat cover (value $200+), plus new tires on the trailer. This boat is definitely ready for some more walleyes, bass and possibly you! First come, first served. Help me keep the peace @ home!

Romantic or not, $3800 for a spectrum with a force is ridiculous.

True genuine junk of all sorts , you just haven't come across a place like this ; still in the works . Broken rods and reels even a good one or two, and old old divers pressure guage watch . half of a fishing hook , couldn't find the fish to get the other half sorry , but hey just get the needle nose and put a nice bend on it , sharpen it a little and you're ready to go ; proudly knowing you made the hook yourself from genuine ~JUNK~ . Honestly : ) I have some good stuff also , just where I don't know : ( . . . 20 torn up casting nets , 12 of these from John's pass , sorry if one of these was yours , you're welcome to come to identify it , that way I can charge you for polluting the waters and creating an environmental hazard . Hey I'm jumping into dumpsters when nobody's looking , digging 10 feet down under the sand to get this stuff , cleaning up the water and finding some good stuff too . Sorry the boat is already taken . William Draper 941-928-6484 ( my cell phone in the bottom of the boat or the Gulf ; give me a couple days to find it, please ) 727-942- 8599 ( leave message please )

Location: N. Clearwater and beyond . . .

The best line, "NADA says its worth XXX."

Umm, no, its worth that much *IF* its in good condition.

I tell you.... I am an automobile or car, truck, van, Motorcycle restorer. You bring it I restore it right... ANyway, I go and try to find a nice project car for myself adn some idiot ALWAYS brings up teh fact that NADA has it listed as $35,000 in LOW NADA book...

Sometimes.... Sometimes, I wished I lived in the Middle East so I can just chop off their lips and tell the constable he offended my, rather than put up with these idiots.

ALL Nada guides are for vehicles (water or land) that need NO WORK...

Nobody seems to get the point that a 15" long 3" wide hole in the hull is more complicated than just a gallon of fiberglass resin and a piece of press board... LMAO :) :)

I HATE NADA like I HATE Barrett Jacksons auctions... :D

Starting to LOVE this iBoats site though!

Re: Funny "TLC needed" boat ads on Craigslist.

Aha I found one in my area:

http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/dak/boa/1894758864.html

1999 Glastron GS185 Ski & Fish, 4.3 Volvo/Penta, depth finder, fish locator, detachable trolling motor, am/fm cassette radio, cockpit bimini, live well, sundeck, went through a complete service last year & rebuilt motor. 0 hours on it, as it hasn't been out yet this year. Runs great & looks good. Asking $9,000 or best offer. Let me know if you'd like to take a look - I can make arrangements. Thanks!

He says 0 hours on it now that it's rebuilt and it runs great...but wait he hasn't taken it out since it's been rebuilt and since it's been rebuilt it now has 0 hours on the motor....wait...what about all the other parts in the motor that weren't rebuilt???

I had to send the guy an e-mail asking him how he knew it ran great if he hasn't been on the lake with it since the motor was rebuilt...and earmuffs dont count.
