Yet another bargain...free boat, wait, what?

Free Boat

Uhhhhhhh????? Is that Aluminum Ducting tape down the side, that was painted over? Once again, I am sure his wife who wrote the add was confused, It was supposed to probably say that he will pay you $400 to take away the trailer, with the boat on it!

You know...I'm not exactly an outboard engine guru, but I've always found that ads showing an outboard laying on the ground to be less than confidence inspiring! :noidea:

The pics of that outboard look like scenes from one of those "After Humans Leave" TV shows.

I thought this was funny because of all the labeling in the pictures.

Pontoon Boat

HA! Somebody showed him how to add text and he ran with it. "Licensed until June of 2014" Is that really a selling point for a boat in a northern climate?

As I was reading that thread I thought "I'll give the guy credit for trying, it's more than I would do" then I saw he's selling it as is, yikes.....I would be nervous of the liability in selling something like that. Also GT10000's drawing of the motor scraping in the thread is priceless HA!

Would this actually work? (Aside from the concern that I'd probably flip it trying to get the motor started).

That is actually legitimate and a good price. I have seen a few of them, and they are used for shallow water, mainly a poor-mans air-boat used for bow fishing "Trash" fish like carp and drum.

I'd be more concerned with the 6+ inches of water in the boat. The boat on the right has even more.

The sign on the trailer is actually worth a couple hundred or more depending on condition.
