Assuming you're serious, I'd wager the problem is the price and the OMC Sea Drive bolted to the transom.
My sarcasm doesnt come across very well on the internet. On the other hand that interior is saaawweet!

Not a TLC boat but I think the price might be about 3x what it should be. The trailer needs TLC though.

I was trying to be nice. Drop a zero on it and might work. The trailer is junk. The boat is old. The only thing worth much is the motors.

So, by chance, I viewed this boat today...the owner has it sitting, uncovered, under his deck...the inside looked moist, I dared to not stand/sit in it! I was buying the plastic for my seats from him (he's plastic supplier of sorts).

He said "I'd take $3,700 for it today" to which I replied, "not really a family boat!" He also claims it'll run 100mph+ at Pueblo Res...um, I just shook my head, but No, No it won't. My money bets it won't even start...and by chance if it did, she's not running above 60mph. Small little prop on the v-drive.

Really.. will trade for a "running car or truck".. this is nothing more than a planter, or yard ordainment.

20' Seaswirl w/trailer trade for Car/Truck

The clincher is "good tags preferred" why? not planing on transferring the title?

when I sell a car, the tags stay with me or we go to the DMV to transfer, otherwise people are known to never transfer the title and drive the car till the tags run out, or it gets impounded.. then guess who the impound lot wants money from.

Yeah it wasn't wasted completely. Nothing about this thread is serious.

Probably would sound like it's going 100mph if it runs. Spend an afternoon on the lake annoying everyone else for miles around.

More than likely , he was referring to the inspection stickers....

Jeez you guys ^^^^ Probably a Flat bottom, probably would run 100 and although they are completely ridiculous, they were very popular on the Colorado river 30 years ago. Some guys still run 'em. Take it out at sundown and make a pass in the glassy water. I grew up begging that I wouldn't get thrown into the headers. I used to have a scar on my left arm from a burn I got lifting a ski over the transom. Ahhhh, the memories!!! Whaaaahhhhhhmmmmppppppp, whhooooosssssh.... see ya. Those were the days  :)

Not a bad price at all for that, and you don't really need marine parts when the motors are completely uncovered ;)

I'll be nice and assumes the wink makes your post sarcasm. Safety on the water is something I feel like the average boater doesn't think about enough.

I'll assume you've never seen one of these boats up close. Never seen an open engine flat bottom or jet boat that had any marine parts on the engine. The electrical stuff doesn't matter since the only reason for it is to prevent sparks in an enclosed area that could have fuel vapors and the carbs are typically high performance car stuff.

Ha Ha.. this is a funny one. 'Just clean it up'. And he wants to trade for a car or truck that runs and drives. lol. I bet this wouldn't even start and probably not float. People are funny
