The local Tractor Supply has the same model of this boat for sale for $50 less than what they are asking and I would not have to spend two hours with my pressure washer cleaning it up.

But it is in "Great condition" People that try to sell used stuff for more than new are simply fools.

I'd say no more than 10 minutes with the pressure washer to clean that up but it hits on a point I like to make. If you ask top dollar at least clean it up first. I bet if the boat was all cleaned up at the same price it would have been overpriced but not so bad it would have made this thread.

I recently sold my Chris Craft for $500 in full running condition (with deficiencies) because it needed bellows, lower unit reseal, a new cover (or at least a restitch) and had freeze damage to the block that had been repaired successfully 8-10 years ago before I owned it. Believe me it was an easy sale. But I made the boat look great because it benefited me as a seller to take the time to do it right. I am tempted to post the pics here that I took before and after I cleaned it up just to drive my point home.

I recently saw an ad that stated how great the boat and motor was and how it ran great the last time it was used. Then the ad went to say that both the boat and motor have been stored for 25 years.

Does 65 mph but needs wiring and an alternator... Does he have an idea how long that indoor laminate flooring will last in a wet environment?

He obviously has no intention of letting it get wet before it's sold. Less than $200 in repairs needed before a test drive...sure.

There sure is a lot of cr*p in those pictures, but no hole - good thing it was removed. Amazing

I think the seller means the whole inside is a hole. And I don't doubt there's mold in it...

$3500 for a boat of unknown age, in pieces, and has not seen wax in a decade~~~ maybe he took it to FL or to the landfill.
