OK I found one. I don't know how to post the pictutres, so I will describe for future viewing. 1972 Homemade Boat wooden catamaran with twin 65 hp engines going for $6500.

1972 Homemade Boats wooden catamaran twin engines for sale in Oakland,ME

OK so $6500 is a lot of money but I bet with that light wooden hull and 130 HP that boat is pretty fast. I would even go so far as to say that at full throttle into some chop those motors might be powerful enough to destroy the hull.

The shape of those hulls seem odd to me. Not really a hydroplane, and looks like it could have a lot of lift in the front. Hard to say for sure though. Not really a TLC boat but not something I'd want to own either.

It's a tinny.
But based on the footwell of the helm console, the PT is laid OVER the existing wood decking, which probably has soft spots..

Couple things made me chuckle on this one

Mint CONDITION/LOW hours, Two Polaris 3 Person Jet Ski's/PWCs

First off he doesn't have a price but did write us a novel about the skis.

From ad:

"It's probably worth noting that we didn't buy these until mid-2005. A dealership found both units in crates that were missed in inventory. We got a good deal on them and bought them literally out of the crates - brand new. :)"

I have heard this one before, I'm pretty sure this is a story salesman tell buyers so they don't get scared off by previous years models laying around. Also the salesman can get a great laugh out of it that night at the bar.

"The Virage I is a 2002 (purchased in 2005). It has 130 miles and 768 hours on it, so obviously it wasn't used much."

768 hours on a jet ski in MN is like 200k miles on a car!

I can honestly say I have never seen an odometer on a boat before  typical on a PWC? And the knucklehead actually thinks it has a total of 130 miles? And 768 hours? That's a whopping average of .16 MPH  What a fool!

Especially since the distance is just a trip meter which can be reset!

Yeah, I saw that, and it was one of the reasons I called him a fool. Could you imagine a car ad where the guy referred to a trip meter? Unflippinbelievable.

That's no dorm frig. That's the commercial side by side with extra veggie drawers, ice and water dispenser. Priced by the pound, a heck of a deal! :D

ice and water dispenser.
Ya know . . . an OB with a built in ice maker would sell big over here. We could all retire on that kinda product. Who's in?
