Looks like the old "I have this much in it, so that's what I need out of it" pricing technique.

Decent (but now used) trailer plus a lot of aluminum for scrap, minus the labor to haul it off would give him a more realistic estimate.

I think I could come up w/ 25 people willing to pony up a buck just to see a 20ft deepV glasser carve a 35+ mph 180deg turn while some young fella, that thinks he's indestructible, attempts to ride it while being towed....... :laugh:
