If they pay you $1000 it would cover the landfill fee. Sell the trailer and there may be a few parts on the lower unit to bring a buck. After a lot of time and a lot of work you may net $200. Most people will pass unless they pay to have it hauled away.

What they fail to state is that the boat has been sitting for over a year with a ripped cover, the interior is trashed - damaged from all the rain water (and snow) running in - the floors are soaked and spongy and the engine is partially dissembled. When it was parked in the backyard a couple of days after they bought it (because they didn't know the block was cracked when they bought it - so much water was coming in from the cracked block they almost sank it in lake michigan) they never stabilized the gas or even disconnected the battery. They thought they would be able to sell it right away... *rolls eyes*
