Ahhh, I was curious as to why all the drains. Using all that cut foam instead of poured foam doesn’t have the same structural integrity, but you have a really sturdy stringer system. Beastly!

Yeah i didnt use the pour foam incase i need to make repairs later on or add a underfloor ice tank it would be a pain trying to rip up that kind of foam

Where you cut the foam you should brush/roll with epoxy. To close your new open close cell foam.

Looks good. What exactly is that foam you are getting? I’ve never seen that here in the US. Then again I wasn’t necessarily looking, ha ha.

Hmm, I didn't think about using buns of closed cell foam. I have access to large sheets of 2 lb density closed cell PE foam.

Its EPE closed cell foam its dense but does squash a little

Drilled out my bung hole the other day my core is 66mm thick consist of 50mm of Kaycel, Outside laminate 7mm inside laminate 4mm, fairing 5mm

I cut out most of my floor the front section needs trimming, the sides are held up by some old fibreglass work i need to cut out

Tonight i glued and glassed my fuel tank false floor

Ahhh, I remember that stage of my project. It feels so nice to start standing on plywood again. Very nice work, and that’s one deep bung hole.....ha ha ha.

Yeah its a great feeling making it this farit has been a long journy to today and to finally have a floor i can stand on, cant wait untill its glassed down and the cover comes off it

Had to cut out and grind down 10 of these blocks 5 more to go, i shapedthe bow floor and the right side floor today

The plywood i chose wasjust CD exterior stuff it is now warping and rolling

There is a gap where the front bow piece meetsthe middle sections as the plywood is rolled front to back it all needsto be screwed down to straighten out the plywood

Weird that it would warp unless it was damp then laid out in the sun.

Really hot weather here in Sydney, Australia we are at the end of spring about to enter summer today it was 37c soon it will reach 42c so i think the heat is warping the plywood
