Here's a couple of rigs that will be successful for flounder, trout and redfish. Both are weedless. At the bonfire, we'll discuss where to fish these for the best results:yo:. Come on JUNE!

I so wanted to meet up with all of you, but then I got to thinking ... these guys got along with sasto too well. Now they are all in one place, and more of them! Now I am just thinking of calling the cops and giving them the dates and location! :laugh::behindsofa:

Not to worry, Art. With only 9K folks in this county the Sheriff is a personal friend...and he's already been invited. The Deputy who lives at the end of my street will also be there with his pet pig (not for use with the bonfire, I might add!):flypig:

LOL....More like some are supper to others. A rather large Bull Shark showed up while doing some underwater work replacing a trim tab on a customers boat. I do my best not to pay any attention to them. What can I do anyway? This one just wouldn't go away. I tried to get the customer to bottom paint it before I installed it. He was in a hurry....so I was left with a big shiny plate in my hands.

I know some are waiting for fair weather so they can go boating. I am about ready to head to the "great white north" on top of a mountain, and not look at a boat for several weeks. Live on a boat...Work on a boat...Work under a boat...Fish on a boat...Happy hour talking about boating and destinations.....Sitting here typing on a boating forum while looking at dozens of boats.

Somehow I have to get away, but probably not till mid April when many head north. Did I mention "boat"?:facepalm:

Enough of my silly rant. Looking foreward to getting together with you guys soon. June can't come soon enough?

I booked a room at Sportsman's Lodge for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Nice lady Edna.

I've got friends from Atlanta coming down bringing their boat too.

To all who plan to bring your boat...

The most pleasant weather would be SE winds @ 5-10kts. The bay and gulf will be glass. IF the winds are higher, we can always go upriver to the sandbars for our cookout.

Bottom line...bring it!

I,m hoping to have my boat ready . Gunna be close . Just about have the trailer in shape . Need to install the o/b ,get it all wired up ,install deck hardware ,get new regestrations . And work on getting a new tow vehicle . :facepalm:
