Nice. I have a 1978 Ebko i/ob with a 1967 110hp Mercruiser. 'Ole Ebbie' has been in our family ever since it rolled off the line in Hastings, NE. My grandma actually worked at the factory and helped build our boat. My grandparents live in Harvard, NE, that's about 10 miles from Hastings. I learned how to water ski behind this boat when I was 7 or 8, I'm now 34. After grandpa, then, Dad, Ole Ebbie became mine about 8 years ago. I lived in Northern, KY(Cincinnati) at the time, we actually lived on the river and the boat saw many days on the Ohio River fishing, cruising and poker runs.

I mainly use 'Ole Ebbie' just for fishing now (Trolling) in Nebraska and Kansas.

Cool, other Ebko people. I have a 1975 ebko trihull outboard that I just started rebuilding. http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=444791 is my resto thread. Got it in a trade and now I'm gonna do a complete redo.

Additionally, EBKO Industries in Hastings, NE is the same as Phillips Industries. I am planning on calling them to see if they have any replacement parts leftover after they were forced to shut down.

I havent been able to find anything for my EBKO anywhere... Its like when the company went out of business everything that pertained to the boats except the boats fell off the earth. I have googled every alley I can think of to find "EBKO" parts. Although I have only had this boat for goin on 4 months, i cant seen to find anything, anywhere.

Hi, I know how you feel. My experience with Ebko was back in 1991. My cousin and I owned a 20' Ebko. We actually had a owners manual for the boat. Ebko was an upscale boat manufacturer back in the 70's, early 80's. The picture on the cover feature the boat next to a Corvette and a Harley Davidson motrocycle with a man in a suit. I called the phone numbers that were listed in the manual, but with no success. We loved that boat, I mean it had teak trim everywhere. It kind of reminds me of a Cobalt, back then.

Ebko boats were built in Hastings, Nebraska. I used too build Ebko boats in the late 80's early 90's. My job was to install the interior, dash board, wiring. Back when Miami Vice was popular, Bill tried to get into the cigarette boats. He ended up losing his arse with that idea and eventually went under. I've heard they still build a few custom made boats, but I haven't been out there for a very long time, so I can't confirm.

whats up all.. I also recently bought a 16' 6" EBKO "somethingorother" the title shows v hull and reads make = EBKO... model= EBKO so i got no idea what it is..its got a mercruiser 140 i/o . we ran it at the lake a few weeks ago and it seemed to run fine and i took it out yesterday and after launching it and pulling into the dock so the fiance could board her we pulled out and she died about 20 ft off the dock.. after enjoying a beer with my fiance we drifted a few hundred feet and waved down some other boaters who towed us into shore it seems the fuel pump went out so i ordered another and she should be back on the water very soon. here are a whole bunch of pics..some a few are right after we bought it and others are taken after several painstaking days of wet sanding and polishing. mby someone out there will gimme a better idea of the model she is.....

Love to see a group of Ebko owners. I bought an Ebko a few years ago and had no idea just how rare they were and how hard it is to find info on them. Mine is a 1979 Ebko Cobra 21' open bow. I have done some work on the interior and recently added a wakeboard tower, but purchased it with 80 hrs. and the engine runs nearly as strong as I suspect it did when it was new. It is the Mercruiser 260 (Chevy 350 base) and the Mercruiser 228 outboard. I will get some pics up soon.

Here is my 1981 cobra, I've painted her with micro gold glitter and taken care of her for 22 years now, gets used about 5times a year lately. seemed like a fool as a kid to buy it but it kept me out of trouble and now my three kids love heading for the beach. Lots of work into it (all by me) Working on boats for a living I think unique is as good as ritz but with class. Cheers all you Ebko owners.

I have the same boat jasder. I just bought an Ebko tri hull bowrider. Title says 18'8", I do know it is a 1978, with a merc 140 i/o. Interior needs trashed. The wife and I are going to redo the interior, custom gauge cluster and all. No clue model name. Only gave 800 at the local marina, and I am building for a family fun boat.

I've found a 17' Ebko trihull with a 302 Ford I/O/Mercruiser outdrive & wonder if anyone happens to have an Ebko factory brochure, with GOOD pictures of the interior, so that i can get it done correctly?

Also, what was the model name, if you know?

i have a 1979 17' ebko in perfect condition and i have the original book that shows all the pictures and types of ebko boats available in 1979 i could post those pictures up if anyone is interested still
