Re: Ebko boats?
Yeah, I'm actually the guy who bought the boat from Carl. We have been having a lot of fun continuing the work Carl started. At this point, the engine is basically done, we installed a new battery and box for the battery and everything is wired in. We also installed a new started and alternator changed the oil and spark plugs and put a new lower shift cable on the engine and outdrive. (that was quite a job) We redid the swim deck and some other spots with new teak and working on a couple of other places. We carpeted the sun deck, bench seat, and front of the bench seat. It seems to be working great as a temporary cheap fix until I want to get into the excitement of upholstering the bench. It may happen sooner than I thought, but I at least wanted to get it functional. We waxed the entire outside of the boat and are working on some of the more challenging areas to wax. I'm working now on replacing the cleats and the navigation light on the front of the boat as well as getting a captains chair and finding someone to reupholster the bow seating area. I will be posting pictures of all the work so far as soon as I get a chance to take a few. More to come soon.
