My first serious boat (chris craft) was like that...
Lady would stand me up each time I went to see the boat, finally after working out a deal (she tried every trick to get more $$), gave me a bank account # saying "You seem trust worthy, just drop the $$ in my account and take the boat"
Me; Umm no I need an actual bill of sale...

Her; "never heard from again"

Me; "Bought a starcraft"
