Carp Smoke, I got your post 30 min AFTER I passed Shelbyville on 64 headed east.... Oh well, not an I/O guy anyway.

$350 for a 350 mercruiser sounds like a deal!

My sister & her kids flew in for a week, so we did the family xmas thing. Having a slice & a beer would have been great, but hanging w/ my west coast nephews wasn't too bad

One's 6 going on 18 & the other's 12 going on 25  I'd have killed one if I'd been stuck on a plane for nearly 12hrs w/ 'em..............

But I'll try to give ya a heads up next time I'm that way. If it's boating season, perhaps you can show me what an operable boat looks like :watermelon:

If I was in the market for a glasser, an Aristocraft would be at the top of the list. I don't think that one would be though.

The Glasstron is interesting.
Please don't ask me questions about the boat. pictures say all. IT IS A PROJECT BOAT!

I think he means don't ask because it has no paper trail.

Isn't TN a no boat title state? Seems like no title @trailer either.. Sig?

I'm talking ownership, JB. TN and GA are no title states, but you have to have papers of ownership - At least in GA.

No title doesn't mean no registration state. I forget every state can be drastically different for boats  Engaged typing w/out brain...

Tennessee is extremely simple.

All you need for boats and trailers are a notorized bill of sale from the seller.

After you get your notorized bill of sale you go to the county clerk and pay the sales tax and get paperwork from the county clerk from there you just send the paperwork to TWRA 30 days later you receive your reg card in the mail.

Tennessee also doesn't require registration on trailers no safety inspections on vehicles, and it only cost me $27.50 for the tags on my truck last year, and $71 to register the SuperSport for three years.

Even better ^^^ as long as the seller isn't skeevy & will sign a BOS w/ a notary present.

Luckily I have three good friends who are notary publics, and my Credit Union will notorize paperwork for me, for only $2.00 per page, its pretty simple if you want your money come to the bank with me.

All though I am not going to say that I may or may not after a fact had a friend sign a bill of sale for me after I purchased a boat.
