Smoke - You need some tin. Then you can play with us and answer the question "Where are the reevits?" We're looking for motors and parts, And you're looking at these like real boats.

The Mako would make a heck of a big water fishing boat, wouldn't it? :)

LOL, I've been lurking on this thread since it started... Subscribed the first couple days..... Don't worry, I've drug more than my share of glass boats to the landfill.

There are a few tinnies out there I'd love to own but apparently I have expensive taste in alum. boats every time I find one the price about knocks me down LOL

Most of these things you guys dig up for this thread are goners but here and there are some decent boats

Smoke - That's why they are in the donor boat thread. Other than that some would be in Bubba's C/L thread but most should not be considered for actual boating use, (although that Mako.....).

Most visiting here are Tinny's and are happy to part and scrap, pics or vids are mandatory.

Expensive taste in Tinny's is okay. Just follow the Starcraft on C/L thread and you'll also see some great deals.

Happy lurking.:watermelon:

Re: CL Donor Boats for our Tinnies

Well I've swapped several email with the Mako guy and something smells fishy

I asked for a phone number and the best time to call ...... he gives me an address

I explain that I'm 6 1/2 hours away and ask again for a phone number ...... he replies that he is out of town working and I'm free to look at it and email him again...

I explain that I'm not interested in making a 13 hour round trip twice when it could be done just once ...... he explains that the trailer alone is worth the price.

I respond that indeed it looks like a great deal, ask again for a number and ask how I could possibly pay him and get titles if he isn't there and won't talk to me on the phone ..... He didn't reply.....

I wonder if he isn't trying to pull a scam selling someone else' boat or something

That sounds very odd! He flat out won't respond to my emails, in the first I asked if I could start the engines if I brought muffs and such.. maybe thats why he won't respond? Perhaps this is one of those listings thats just too good to be true
