Yah, at that price point she'd be worth a look if she were closer. I'd like to avoid the 5.0 though. I figure if I am going to put that much weight in the boat it may as well be the 5.7 ya know.

I've been thinking about this one for a few days...

It's right near my place so I did a fly by, manifolds are all cracked out...

The engine MIGHT still be good but that donor just got a whole lot less valuable.

3 grand with busted manifolds and who knows what else sure isn't donor territory price wise.

Yah, you got that right GA.

He said that the marinated ran it for compression test, 150# all around. Then it has sat for the past few years.

I think someone may have left out a very important step in between now and then eh.

K here's another...

AWESOME 22' PROJECT BOAT

He says there's the 4bbl 205 hp version of the 4.3 in there.

Yah, I'm familliar with MMZ, I drool over their engines from time to time. Then I come back to reality. If I already owned a bad engine I could pull the accessories (and everything else) off of the rebuilt might be a little more cost effective.

That one doesn't look very well looked after!!!

He sent me some photos, check this out...

Yeah, why take care of the parts on the exterior of the hull. We clean the inside every time we use it...

Ugh, ya figure he left it in the slip a tad too long? That may be the ugliest outdrive I've ever seen....

What's an SEI outdrive run these days?

Yah an SEI is about another $1300. That pretty well prices that boat right out.

Too bad thats not a SC! He says the transoms sooid but id really wonder since the gunnels look like the glass is worn right off. But nice trailer and engines though! Probably could turn a nice profit

Um, that's like less than 30 minutes from me. I Always thought my SS would be cool with twins, my transom is wide enough and I'm rated for 240hp. I better get that idea out of my head.

Might be an option for 'Jas though, if they run good, just add a bracket.

I wonder if it was a fresh water boat....

If I had more than 2 nickles to rub together and a bigger TV it would probably be in the driveway.

Much to the Admirals dislike.

That Galaxy has 200 bucks worth of goodies, along with the trailer. Bet the motor is cracked, but still. I love it when a seller pre-drains the bilge for you. :D
