In Manual # 6, I cannot find your provided guidance. Now I still have the issue for exhaust bellow installation. After I clean the outside of the mounting flange of belling house and the inside of exhaust bellow and I apply adhesive on both side, After the adhesive is not tacky any more, I tried to put them together, But both of them are stuck together and I do not have time and change to pull the bellow back. So it is very difficult.
I failed again. Next time I will do it without adhesive. maybe there is a little leaking.
You are right. I have installed exhaust bellow without adhesive. I know there is leaking without adhesive. But it is better than the bellow comes off
How do you know the bellows is leaking? The exhaust bellows always has water in it. If the engine is stopped, then the exhaust bellows is completely filled with water, and if the engine is running, then all the water from the cooling system is going out through the exhaust bellows.
You are right. Can I say exhaust bellow is useless or it does not matter if the exhaust bellow is missing?
it does not leak any more after I re-sealed with adhesive in the u-joint bellow and it does not come off for the exhaust bellow without adhesive.
