If it doesn’t turn in any direction you have the wrong bearing. I looked back at your pics, it does look like the correct bearing. Try this: put the alignment bar in, but not engaged wi the coupler. Lift up on the bar. I bet it moves the bearing. Some are rather stiff, but do “ gimbal “

Is it OK now? This time I took photo before the bar was just outside the gimbal bearing.

If it slides in with little effort it’s good. Let’s see the entire shaft after you pull it out.

Your gimbal bearing is not fixed. The gimbal function is tight on purpose.
Yes. it can turn in any direction. I have aligned the gimbal bearing to the engine. and the alignment of engine has been done yesterday. I have decided to mount the outdrive because the bar moves smoother than yesterday and the witness seems better.

Before the length of left is different from right side. After I tried, the situation got worse, the axis of all parts is not same. So I even could not put rubber bushings in. Have I damaged my power trim? how can I fix it? I thought it should be very easy task, So I did not check the manual.

No damage done. Just remove the stainless steel pin. Rotate the ends of the rams by 180 degrees. Reinsert the pin...

Why does my engine shake while running even without mounting outdrive? I am sure the engine front has been fixed on the boat. How about the real? I have checked the two bolts at rear cannot be turned any more.

It shakes while my starting engine and I am concerned that the shaking will also demanage the coupler.

But it does not shake after I put into forward and the water from exhaust is really very warm.

This time I did the testing without mounting outdrive.

Water is forced into the tube.

Thank you
