Looks like you were pretty close to the first photographer sam, maybe a little closer in or just right of temple. did u look around to see any old stuff there?
Which coves are best? I would need access by vehicle as well.. preferably launch jetskis .. Thanks!!!
As much as I hate the subject matter, this is a good article.

I always launch at a marina and don't have any "reliable" information on shore launching, but I saw a guy in a big truck hauling a 20+' jet boat out of Boxcar cove last weekend, looked like he was shore launching. Kingman Wash just across the dam on the AZ side would be another option. I haven't been to either of these in years, so.....
Who all has been out to the lake lately? I've been out of Echo 3 times, going out again this weekend.
That article is missing 1 very important point (just like every article I've read about Mead dropping this year), the lake is "artificially" low due to the artificial flood they created down in Mexico. If the powers that be didn't think it was a fantastic idea to pizz away our water in a drought, Lake Mead would be holding it's own. I've been up to Page a couple times this year and every time the radio says that Lake Powell is 6' higher than last year......
The big question is, how much water did they dump into the Colorado River Delta and how would Mead be looking if they didn't squander that water. (Clue, from January to June of this year Mead lost 26' of elevation when it should have been gaining elevation with spring run-off.)
Here's another one FD. Powell should share a bit also.

Thanks again for the info Randy.
Agree, much more info. Still slanted, but good stuff. That is a good article! (Much better than the fluff covered in the major media.)
